A pulse oximeter is a non-invasive device and really easy to use. It can be attached to your middle finger, thumb, index, or ring fingernail of your right hand. It can also be attached to the ear lobes or toes.
Why do we use pulse oximeter
A pulse oximeter measures the oxygen saturation level in patients. It is used for people having heart issues, lung issues, or any other sort of respiratory problem.
Normal range of oxygen level
A pulse oximeter is used to measure your body pulse and oxygen concentration in the blood. Normal oxygen concentration in healthy people is 95-100%.
However, this oxygen level is around 88-92% in COPD patients and individuals with lung issues. Below 88%, in any case, inhibits the functioning of organs.
