There are many reasons that can cause your oxygen level to drop. Some are intrinsic and some extrinsic.

- Anemia (a less concentration of red blood cells, that carry oxygen)
- Severe asthmatic attack
- Severe panic or anxiety attack
When your body doesn’t have enough oxygen, you could get hypoxia or hypoxemia. In short words, your body is deprived of oxygen. If not treated at the right time, the damage which might occur in the body is permanent.
How its treated
You need to visit the hospital to treat hypoxia. The doctor will examine your organs and give you an oxygen supplement. Asthma medicines or inhalers will be prescribed to you to make breathing easier.
If this doesn’t help, the doctor will prescribe the inducing of drugs through our veins. Steroids are also given for a limited time period to cure lung inflammation. Antibiotics are given to kill infectious pathogens. When no medication works then the patient needs machines for survival.

- Take prescribed medication
- Stay in shape and do recommend exercise
- Visit your doctor for clinical checkups
- Health and drink healthy
- Do less exertion
- Avoid asthma triggers
